0-60and 1/4 mile per MotorTrend:

2006 Civic Si
0-60mph = 6.3 secs
1/4 mile = 14.9 secs

2006 Mustang V6
0-60 mph = 7.0 secs (MT actually tested a vert which clocked 7.3)
1/4 mile = 15.2 secs (MT actually tested a vert which clocked at 15.5)

I subtracted .3 secs from both the 0-60 and 1/4 mile for a estimation of V6 Coupe times.

Car & Driver says the V6 Coupe does 0-60mph in 6.9 secs.

From what I see the Civic could definitely take the V6 Stang. I'm not saying it's not a drivers race......but the V6 stang is not a faster car.

I had a 2007 Civic SI pull up to me at a light the first night I had my car. He rolls down his window and says "Wanna see what a 4 cylinder can do". He gets his revs up for a hole shot, Im sitting there thinking "Oh great, I dont even know how to launch this thing yet". Turns out it didnt matter, the light turned green and I just let out the clutch and tromped the gas. I went through 1st then slamed into 2nd. I was at 60mph in no time so I hit the brakes cause I was in a 35. After I practically stop fo a minute, I hear this fart sound getting louder, the sound of a 4 cyl giving it hell, it takes him forever to even catch up after I slowed to like 30. He flys by at max gas and gives me the finger. Guess I deserved it after I just made him look like a complete jackass.

Well I saw a GT like yours around old town. and driving down 11th Ave a few times. I'm normally out and about around 3 p.m. to midnight.

Good story dude! Anybody run into a turbocharged civic yet??? I read all the turbo magazines for obivious reasons and greddy makes a kit for the new civic thats supposed to make 260 to the wheels. I doubt I'll ever see one where I live but was wondering if any of you guys have run into one yet.
