The last thing I am trying to do is upset people. If it bothers a few members that much, MD can take it off the list. It's not that big a deal, at least to me. I submitted it as a sort of 'novelty' and wasn't trying to make it harder for other members to make the top 10.

Experiencing a .840 60' time is absulutly unbelievable. I have friends that ask me what its like, all the time. They say "what does it feel like? Is it at all like my 11 sec ride in feel?" What I tell them is, until you;'ve experienced it, it is unfathomable. I contend that if I hade a passenger seat in the dragster and took someone for a 4 second ride, at the end of the track after getting out of the car, the passenger would be white faced, completly shellshocked, and wouldn't be able to talk for a while, scared ****less. The G's are unbelivable. When I licensed in a 8 sec dragster, I thought that was unbelievable, especially the launch. (1.2-1.3 60'). When I licensed in a top alcohol dragster, I thought .920 60' times were unfathomable and unbelievable, unbelievably extreme, until I licensed in the top fuel car. It's all so relative. Here's a good analogy; driving a fuel car is a lot like riding a bull. You don't enjoy it 'til it's over and both can have a mind of their own. You gotta be ready for anything and everything the car throws at ya, trying not to fight it to much.

I didnt want to post my time yet until I made a good pass with the right tire pressure and launched at the right RPM since I know I can hit the 13's as is, but some *** monkey decided to post it any way. Thanks! Yea 14.06 is close but I was waiting for the headers to go on in a few weeks before I posted a lame *** 14.06. My wife's Grand Cherokee could pull that in cold weather.

Gotta have something to shoot for! I bet with it posted its good motivation to get out to the strip again! Bob, if you really want me to take it down I will, I really only posted it to fill up the list some because it was kinda bare at the time - just let me know.
JD - notffastenuff is a friend of mine with a 99 Lighting, his name is Brian. You didn't meet him I don't think at the meet because he had to work late.

Thats cool. Im getting a job in Mississippi im hoping, so maybe I can make it to the track a little more in Ga. Still not sure yet if im headed back to Iraq with the guys.
