1989 LX, stock motor with a set of valves and bolt ons, stock suspension naturally aspirated.

12.567 @ 105.8 with a 1.691 60'.

 

2000 Ford Lightning 13.37 @ 101.3 Superchip R9 Chip 4.10 Gears and cold air kit Street tires.
1980 Coup converted to 1987 14.17 @ 100. 2.33 60 ft GT40 Crate motor 5speed 273 gear Street tires.
1966 Ford Falcon 12.51 @ 110 351C 40 over Comp Cams Magnum 605 lift C6 486 gear Through the mufflers on Street tires.
1973 Mach I 13.37 @ 107 Same motor 389 gears small tires and title weight.

 

12.6491@110.70 with a 1.9828 60' and for an added bonus, WASTED my rear end.

 

I cant wait till the track re-opens here!!! Im calling low 11s this year!!But talk is cheap so ill save the video and slip LOL. Until then my 13.01 @ 106. will have to do!

 

Near stock 89 LX... SVO filter, MAC 1 5/8" shorties, UPR shifter, BBK cat h-pipe, flowmaster 2-chamber catback, and FRPP 3.55's. Some no-name 205/60/R16's (I think) all around, bone stock suspension.

My first time EVER on the drag strip, I ran a 15.65. Pretty sad, but to kinda off-set it, I had literally JUST come off a 5-hour drive, coming home for the weekend from college. I pulled off the interstate, hit the track, and THEN drove home.

15.65 with full interior, near-full tank of gas (more than 3/4), and bags in the car. Since then, I haven't been able to get back... hoping to improve to mid-14's stock though... Just need to practice.

 

well i ran the 13.9 @ 101mph in the 98. but in a week or two i just may be up there in the mid top ten. oh by the way with 31 splined strange axles, should i worry about launching at more than 5000 rpm???

 

I still can't understand why that car only runs a 13.9 with a blower. Even with the non-PI heads.
