I think I'm gonna try 12psi in my Nitto's next time out. Last time I went with 14psi and that's when it went 1.66.

 

Yeah, this wasn't even my best time of the day, I know I hit high 11's on my first run but the damn track timer was screwed up for the first couple of runs for the day. My 1/8 time and mph was lower/higher than this run. I also hit a 12.00 time, but didn't post it because I redlighted and didn't know how you all felt about posting a redlight.

Yeah, the trick I found with the Nittos was to drop the psi down to 12 and just a slight burn in to clean them off. The IRS is stock, havent even changed the bushings yet.

 

What's your best 1/8 so far and best 60'?

My best 1/8 is 7.7 something can't remember the exact time. Best 60' was a 1.71 on the drag radials, too bad they weren't at the same time, LoL.

Obs, Fayetteville has it's good and bad days. They seemed to have it setup good yesterday. I've never cut a 1.6 with the drags, but man that sure would be nice. I was afraid to go with slicks because of the IRS, but now I don't feel I need them for the times I'm cutting and they are safer. My car was hooking great yesterday.
