I was out cruising for the first time in the Cobra Saturday when I passed a yellow Dodge Viper a few times. I caught the driver eye balling me & he threw a pretty angry rev both times....

Not really sure what year it was, it was yellow with an aftermarket spoiler. I dont' know if the front bumper was stock or not, but it reminded me of a C5 Corvette front bumper.

Any idea on what year & hp/tq this car makes? I'm pretty sure we will have a run in before summer hits...

i dont think yellow are too common on the SRT-'s, so, im gonna say it was probably a mid-late '90's GTS. good race. youd probably hurt him there Danno.

i haven't seen yellow for the SRT-10, just the older models so yeah you probably have a really good chance if they are also a stock viper.

oh ****....they got yellow for the 2005 SRT-10 oops....my bad

hmm... was probably a RT/10? this look familiar?

 

if it was an SRT10 (the newest body style) youll have to really get the jump on him...and hope they dont have the "better than average driver" mod.

the one pictured above can run similar times to yours stock, if well driven, but there is a big aftermarket for them...then again, ive seen them in the 13s.

thats if its from a dig...i would think that from a roll, the SRT10, and even the more powerful pre-srt vipers (96+ are 450hp stock)would give you a hell of a run...the "slowest" vipers were only 400hp in the roadsters.
