They put down mid 400's on the dyno im told - the newer SRT10 Viper puts down around 510bhp/530lb tori believe... you are about 250 lbs fatter... Srt10 would be difficult to beat with your car..

Speaking of rare yellow vipers, I actually saw one today coincidently. He burned em up for me, it was cool - i think they sound like *** though... kinda cool to actually see someone have a car like that - and drive it like it's suppose to be driven.

a few years of the viper came with a TERRIBLY restrictive exhaust system...the exhaust had an "S" right past the headers..i believe they were the models with the side pipes...and on those cars, switching to pretty much any straight-back exhaust setup makes a pretty big difference (foran exhaust system).

racer, if its a 95, and a roadster, unless hes well built, he probably wont race because for him, it wouldnt be a race...it would be him watching you drive away.

but something to think about...all of the faster vipers that ive seen had pretty much completely stock appearance. the few aftermarket FI kits that ive seen from SVS and Roe tuck under the stock hood...i dont know if that qualifies as a sleeper, but a first gen can look completely stock with the hood closed, and sound fairly stock, and still be quite quick...but most are stock, driven by old guys who are pissed off that their wife left with the neighbors 20yo son.

Next time I catch him out I'll see if I can chase him down or atleast get a better look at the car now that I know what I'm looking for...

It def had a rice like wing on it, he did have his hat backwards too... [8D]

We'll see, I'm sure I'll run into him at some point this spring/summer.

I have a buddy with a 95 yellow viper and when you say typical driver I betting you mean "bad driver". He went from a SRT-4 to this viper.

some of the hennessey vipers (one of their aero packages) includes a HUGE wing, which is a knock-off of the GTS-R...on the very unlikely chance that it is one of the above, theyre alot more powerful...i think that you could get the hennessey package in any color, but the comp coupes and such only came in a few colors that i know of, and ive never seen one in yellow. ive not seen many srt10 vipers either...

im intrigued now...hopefully you get to run him...i think that it could be a good race if he can drive. an early model is going to have to really be well driven to turn out numbers similar to yours.

within the last few years, the 1st gen vipers have become more accessible, as they value of one is down inside 20 grand now...so youll see more younger people driving them...and totalling them..

Yeah, he was a younger guy for sure...

It had a fast & the furious style wing on it, it wasn't very tall but it definitely didn't belong on the car. The weather is nice today & I'll most likely get the car out for a cruise tonight. I wouldn't be surprised if I run into him... I was out all weekend in my car/truck and I saw him atleast once everytime I was out. Your intrigued? Imagine how I feel! I wanna run the sumbitch!
