Firebird = OWNED
My first Real race.
I was on my way home from work tonight going up 95 north in the Left lane. I was running about 80 when I came up on some traffic and in front of me was a mid 90's firebird.
He had a couple of cars in front of him that moved over and as i got closer to him he moved over to the right. I was just going to go on by him at 80 and just keep heading home.
He decides to race me, well he tried. I saw him stomp on it as my rear quarter panel was about to pass his front fender, So i floored it too. From 80 to 100 his front fender stayed just in front of my passenger door, after i passed 110 it was all over. By the time i hit 130 i had put about 20 car lengths on him.
He gave up and i never saw him again.
It felt good too, god i love my car.

probaly was a v6
Besides that, my 97 dodge avenger V-6 would and did kill many V-6 firebirds on the interstate.
I highly doubt it was a V-6, it ran pretty damn good. I had to work to beat him.
