Firebird = OWNED
I was getting at, you can get them lighter b/c they have fewer options. Well, you can deck them out too, but I'm sure most TA's have far more options than a Formula does. Thusly making them faster b/c they're lighter. Like an FRC Vette for instance. Cheapest, lightest, fastest. Firehawk is teh drool.
you can do that with every car. but they are not striped. They have teh same options. Power windows and locks ins't much of a difference either. the formys are the same as the TA's just slightly less weight from the body changes. firehawks the much more gooder..

Thank you!
Hey WS, is that Pheonix from the X-Man in your avatar? It sure looks like her.
Nice kill.
I wouldn't doubt it if it was an older v8 firebird... but none the less... nice kill.

I have a "stripped" Camaro (1SC option code) and it doesn't seem to be any faster than a loaded one. My g/f had a fully loaded auto '01 Z28 that went 13.36 bone stock with 2.73 gears; mine went 13.52. She did get a slightly better 60 ft, though.

Hers was a hardtop and mine has t-tops. I dunno if that makes any difference. Now she has a fully loaded Z28 with t-tops so sometime we're gonna get them weighed to see if there is a difference. Probably not much, if any. I've heard you have to drop 100 lbs to pick up a tenth in the 1/4 mile.
