when i used to drive my dad's 90hp fiat marea, i thought it was the fastest machine on the road, so i can understand why yourbrother says that srt-4 can take that LS1 because he has never been into an LS1.
my buddy who had stock honda accord used to tell me that he could take my LT1 cuz his is manual and mine was auto. and it wouldn't even be a race. and right after that conversation, i saw i couldn't convince him by talking and i said lets go to the gas station and grab a pack of cigarette. he got in my car (My LT1 is not that fast.. it is stock) i floored and drove it like stolen and after that, he said "I was wrong man, your car is faster"
so, if you wanna prove your bro, get him into that LS1 and drive it like it was meant to be and ask the same question again. Trust me, answer will be different.

he knows what 300rwhp feels like... he needs to get a ride in an LS1... it's hard to explain but its a unique pull... at 300rwhp my LT1 felt like all hell was breaking loose... my ls1 feels like I am just accelerating(ho hum)until I glance at the speedo.
I am suprised so many people (at age 19 even) don't have much experience around f-body cars... seems everyone has ridden in or been around a mustang but people are generally clueless about us.
