srt4 vs ls1

srt4 vs ls1
hey i was just wondering what would beat what, a stock SRT4 or a stock LS1? my brother is trying to say the SRT-4 could take an LS1 but i'm think that the LS1 would blow them away, and info on this?

Yup, stock to stock the ls1 car would destroy the SRT-4. Although all the SRT-4 needs to do is get a boost controller and up the boost to be able to beat him. SRT-4 @ 255 whp should be enough to take him out.

ls1> srt4. no questions asked. not a drivers race, not even close. Thats the quivalent of lets say an Evo vs a Wrx or a S197 gt to a sn95 5.0. Its just not gonna happen unless theres tricks up someones sleeve.

Your right, then you could mod up the Camaro or what not. It's all about how deep your pockets are. All I was trying to say was that for 100.00 bucks, if not less, you could make the SRT-4 much faster. Turboed cars when driven correctly will launch just fine. My buddy who drives a nice WRX would also beg to differ!
