They dont even make manual trannys for them. I used to drive them all the time over summer. They didnt seem to fast at all, if anything i was unimpressed.
Which makes them a better candidate for running consistent times. They make shift kits for them.

Consistantly Slow... Haha, im sure they could be modded to do some damage, as any car especially since it has a blower. But as far as stock... they felt slow (relative to what we are talking about, faster than the avg car).
I've seen a GTP do elevens with full interior, I raced the guy who had it (he was driving his girlfriends new VW Jetta 1.8T GLS at the time, which I got beat with)

They can be fast, 11s are good enough to take on MD.

Yeah, like i said anything can be made fast, hell i've seen a mini van lighting up an LS1 lol... Stock, they are faster than the average car, but just doesnt seem like a car you mod to make quick. I dunno maybe im wrong.

Oh yeah, off topic... i think there gonna cut the goat from production soon. Unless something really happends in 05. We had 2 all summer and sat in the showroom. We couldnt give them away. We did sell a lot of GTP's though, most of the people looking at pontiacs were families, not anyone looking for speed. The interiors are nice, much nicer than my car I have to say.

The GTP should be the only car made to be fast in the grand prix section.

supercharged, 280 ft lbs stock.

I would think that a stock 5.0 w/a manual tranny and decent driver could take a GTP.

The 3.8 SC II motors belong in Fiero's. I love Fiero's lol.

Mine was a Formula which was a GT but in the 4 cylinder (coupe) body. It was the only Fiero to have the V6 and the GT suspension in that body style and they were only made in 88. It was the lightest and fastest of the Fiero's. But Fiero's are not fast lol. The Formula Fiero is basically the most rare besides the Mera which looked kinda like a Ferrari.

I was just about to put a small block chevy in my Formula and then I got into a car accident. The motor was going to have around 400 HP. I am still going to do that someday. Maybe after I graduate.
