Well, a '07 GT runs 13.9@103 mph (stick) and a '93 Vette (13.8 @110mph).
With your shorter gears and Tune, your '07 has a ligit shot against the 14 year old LT1.
If he's got an LS1 Vette, forget it.

Ok, results are in!!! VICTORY!!! Went to the track tonight and ran against my commanders 93 Vette. My best time was 13.80 @ 103.38 and his best was a 13.92. Very narrow margin but still victorious. This was my first time ever at the track with my car so I didnt do too bad I guess. I suck pretty bad at launching. But I did ok I guess. Just glad that now I get to have bragging rights at my unit.

1. A 2007 Mustang GT is definitely capable of better than 13.9. Just ask Doodad.
2. No factory stock LT1-powered vehicle ever made can hit 110 in the 1/4. That's kinda rare for even an LS1.
And yes, I know it's weird that I'm taking the side of the Blue Oval here.[8D]

There is no way a stock LT1 anything is trapping 110mph

Hmm that black on black mod might make you edge him out! In reality I would say it's a drivers race, you the advantage because you have a fresh motor and his is getting a little bit old.
