my point exactly STI 13.29...Stock. Of course, the cobra ran a 13.30? must have been traction issues with a 109 trap speed and that slow of a time.

 

i raced one about a month ago. i completly killed him off the line because he doesnt like to launch his car. then again, i only launched at 2k. and i just pulled on him until i was gone. then we were on the highway and we went from 40 to 140 and i hung with him the whole way. once we reached 120ish, i started really pulling on him, then we hit 135ish and i missed 5th. haha. so technically he won, but i could have easily taken him

 

i just hit up englishtown racetrack the other week and the WRX that i raced beat me by 3/4 of a second but that's because they have AWD and can get a much better launch. thou a couple weeks before that i killed one on the turnpike. but with your mods i would think from a dead stop you would beat them and from a roll its all you no questions

 

Never said n e thing about Underestimating an STI, I want one (When my stang isnt Street Legal). my Best Friend has a WRX. and those are some SHytty Times for an 03 Cobra....closer to a Mach 1's 1/4

 

I raced a guy in a stock 02 wrx in my friends STOCK 01 GT he got us off the line but we easily caught him by second gear and then it was over.......moral of the story yea they can launch good but thats not everything!!!

 

well if ford would have given us the equivalent number of valves and a turbo... the sti, evo etc. wouldnt have a prayer. theres no replacement for displacement, except for valves

I'll beat an sti . I kill turbo supras , and corvettes . I don't even remember what it's like to worry about an sti . Get a blower and you wont have to worry either .

 

hmmmm, someone doesnt know how to drive a cobra and why is the sti trapping at 10.5?
