2003 S/C Cobra
Just curious what a stock 2003 S/C Cobra runs avg. in 1/4 mile? I have not raced one yet with my Srt-4 but I do know I got pulled on into 2nd gear w/ my LT-1 and was behind 4 cars by 100mph. I don't know if it was stock or not but I am assuming it was. My Srt-4 pulls alot harder than my vette top of 2nd and on. So I am wondering if I would hang with a stock S/C Cobra withmy srt-4running around 300FWHP on Drag radials.

RE: 2002 S/C Cobra
There isnt a 2002 S/C Cobra, or any Cobra from 2002 for that matter. They had a Cobra in 99 and in 01 that wasnt S/C, but didnt make one in 02, and in 03 and 04 they did havea stock S/C, so thats what I guess your talking about. They run high 12's stock with a decent driver, but with DR's, smaller pulley, exhaust and tune, they're an easy low 12 second car. A S/C Cobra would stomp an LT1 Vette.

Yes I mean 2003 (I joined the forums to learn about the stangs and this is lesson #1 for me, lol), and yes I already know they will stomp a LT1 Vette, I've experienced that one already lol. So I am assuming it's a drivers race w/ my SRT-4 vs Stock 03 S/C Cobra.

I'd say it would be a drivers race, and one screw up for either one of you, and the other guy wins. I'd say you have the advantage if you can run 12.8x's almost everytime, because most S/C Cobras or "Terminators" which is another name for them, but the avg driver would run 12.9-13.0. You'd have to run into a pretty good driver for them to run 12.7-12.8.

Just be careful which cobras you play with. It's not hard to make them much faster than stock. It's usally as quick as swapping out the stock pulley on the S/C & a set of sticky tires.
