You'll be good for way more than 4K launches. Those are supposed to hook just like a slick. I think you'll be fine around 5-5500. The new rear end should hold up. Dude...You're gonna be low 11's coming out like that.

The old style ET-Streets did hook like a slick. You may be in luck!

maybe [&:] their on back-order until the 1st of the year SHould have em in a couple weeks. Yea I went to the track, couldnt get any traction. 2 runs a 12.12 and a 12.18 with a 1.91 and a 1.95 60' , can't explain it ever since my 3rd run last time out I can't hook. Both tires are spinnin on the burnout but for some reason coming out of the box the tires never grab the car hard like they usually do - and normally on a BAD launch I'm a high 1.8 60' - but those were descent launches but the car just doesnt get going. It feels like just 1 wheel going but both smoked on the burnout. Had a bad headwind, like 10 - 15 mph but I still trapped at 118+ mph both runs ... the air was good traction wasnt. BTW - launching at 2300

Why don't you just quit screwing around and get a set of ET Drags? Quit being a ***** and just change them when you get to the track. Or get some ***** and just drive them to the track...I've done it.

I dont have a problem driving them to the track, its just that I need new street tires now so I already have to spend $350 on tires (no matter what I get) and then for ET drags thats another $350 + rims ($80 for v6 rims). I'd get the et drags if I wasnt afraid they'd only last 1k street miles and heat up bad on the highway

Yeah, they wouldn't last long on the highway...But man...When you launch that thing with slicks. It's damn near feels like it's going to snap the seat backs off.

Lemme know how well you like them over the nitto's. I have it narrowed down between the ET DR's or the BFG DR's
