I say this knowing that Dan02 is going to pee himself. But I've seen more than one at the track running low 14's. The '04. The 05 is supposed to be the **** though.

:ees himself::

Nah, chances are you've seen more than one running 14's. They are heavy and hard to launch. But with the right driver they are just as potent as any 98-02 F-body.

DOOOOOD! If I wasn't the lazyest somebitch on the planet, I'd go back and find that post where you said it just wasn't possible or it was running on 6 cyls just so I could shake my finger at you!

Seriously though...I've seen them get slapped around by GT's and such.

IMO, if a RETARD couldn't break 13.9 in a GTO I'd be suprized.

if you can drive them you can hit low low 13's like an LS1 fbody.. but they are hard to launch so I have been told. I talked to the guy at BMR (they have a nitrous GTO) when they were at the thunder racing shootout and he said that it's the hardest car that he ever had to learn to launch. Said he got better but still can not get it right all the time. I lined up with one a few weeks ago but something happend to the car in front of him so they let the 2 of us in the left staging lanes run each other. I pulled a 13.9 (bad launch) and when I watched him run when I got back he pulled a 14.1. Kinda sucks cause I wanted to run him. with some good drivers and more suspention parts available they will become more of a threat.
