when i worked as a mechanic, i had a customer with a pretty nice silverado SS. he had exhaust, and intake, and a programmer, IIRC. I was out test driving it one day, and a guy in a hemi QC came up on me and yelled "my hemi would eat that POS". i hate people like this, and it especially bothered me that he was in a dodge...pulling a ricer move like that.

and he was wrong...his blinged out hemi wouldnt eat the SS.

 

Yep, mine is the QC and 4x4. You can bet I will be verrrry careful about who I try to play with. It runs well and the Hemi absolutely howls with the cold air/exhaust.....BUT....it's no speed demon with all that weight.

 

so i shouldn't have a problem, it's going down tonight. should i put a wager on it?

you should get him.. a buddy of mine has a quad cab4 wheel drive hemi and i think it is a dog.. my last 5.0 was almost stock and i wouldn't sweat racing him.. just dont break the tires loose and you will be fine.. or try like a
15mph roll on race

 

I don't anyone has said this yet, but "Good lookin 5-OH you have there." Okay now that I got that out of the way go kick that trucks ***. I had a very tired 351C in a 70 Ranchero and ripped a co-workers brand new Hemi a new one. They're not that fast and they're dogs off the line. My Ranchero was a dog too, but not as bad as the hemi.
