96-98 cobras factory time is a 14.0. my friend pulled a 13.96 the other night in one, but anyway, they arn't really "that fast" idk why, they should be faster than a new edge gt when you compare the specs, but they're just not.

And Ectasy, with your mod list, I bet you don't run in the 14s Those Cobies are more in line with stock-ish 2V's.

Newer Cobras are more than respectable, BTW. You still might beat the 99/01's, but if you haven't realized you've got a ton done to your car.

 

I think he could take a fudged '99, but a good running '99/01 with a decent driver would run him. Good races though dude, you just gotta understand that not all the Cobras out there are killres. The first two owners might have never "driven" the car, and viola. Weak sauce Cobra.

 

Those SN95 Cobras aren't overrated, everyone know that they aren't that fast. I beat one by a full second at the strip last month and it wasn't even my best run.
