i should of got it on vid but i didnt cuz we didnt have the camera there so were gonna run again tonight so i can get it on video, i raced a 97 cobra he had full exhaust, we did it from like a 25 roll & a 45 roll, both times i put 2 1/2 cars on him. i actually thought i was gonna get my *** handed to me, so i guess i dont want a cobra anymore lol.

 

maybe it was poorly maintained, or the guy could not drive, it was a 4.6 wasn't it? I love the 5.0.

 

yea it was a 4.6 the guy was a good driver but hes the 3rd owner and the cars only got 50k on it. but then again im not stock either.

That's a nice list of mods you got there. But why did you think you were going to get destroyed?

 

cuz the cobra sounded like a beast? lol he drowned the sound of my car out. he had full exhaust & k&n filter lol. but 225 stock vs 305 stock + the mods? + i got a system in my car.

 

They do sound beastly, but you are also lighter (not sure by how much) plus you have more than full exhaust (TB, buncha deletes, intake, MAF, injectors, other smaller mods).

Does your buddy have a gear? If not, toss a 3.73 or 4.10 in there then race again

 

i was coming in here expecting to read about termies, lol, but 10 year old car thats pretty stock yea might not be as great as it once was
