Arguing?? You are dense as hell if you missed the connection...let me recap...

No, I didn't say it was too high. I also didn't mean to direct that comment just at you either. I just can't imagine why the **** anyone cares what gas milage a sports car gets.
I got that (thought you were the original commenter) as you can see my comment was changed to address that....

I agree thread = die.

ok, so to recap for the original poster, does everyone agree that with the basic bolt ons (on the s197 not the ls1) it is a drivers race? Seems that is the consensus.

How do our 4.6 GT's do against a WS6?? I'm just curious never heard of anyone racing one and just wanted to know how that would turn out and what a GT might need in upgrades to keep up with one. Thanks
I assume you mean any base GT, 99-04, 05-07's as well. Neither have a chance in the 1/4 stock, but with full bolt ons, a blower or other form of boost, you can beat stock to midly modded ones. WS6's are low 13's on avg and are better races for mach 1's and cobras/99-01, stock for stock.

I ran against a WS6 at the track and it had nothing done to it and only took me by like 6-7 lengths...theyquick but certainly not unbeatable

I think the REAL reason you want to kill the thread is, last night when it was just me vs. all of you, you couldn't get enough. Today, there are people defending my statements and it's just KILLING you guys to have a somewhat fair fight. Admit it! I say continue the thread, now that there are a few more people on my side and it's not just a pigpile. Forget the damn firechicken's gas mileage, okay so I admit if my grandmother set the cruise at 55 with the air off she could get 28 mpg on the way to bingo. Continue the damn thread, complete with the shattering of the myth of the untouchable, million-horsepower ls1s...

POST ON DAMMIT!!!

Actually the thread is going to die NOW! I am sick of all the half assed info and speculation in this thread. Everyone needs to stop arguing over same things that we has been hashed out time and again.
