my race with a eclipse gst
ORIGINAL: bluebeastsrt
I just wonder how much of that 35 shot actually makes it to the wheels? Is it even worth going thru all the install hassles?

raced a 96 gt without out it and it but about three cars and with it i consitently but a car to half a car on him so definatly yes worth it to be.
Does the kit you have allow for just changing out the jets for a bigger shot? If you like 35 ,imagine what a 75 shot would feel like.I may spray my car down the road but i'd do at least a 75 shot, maybe 100
yeah it came with a 25 35 and a 50....but i gave the 50 to by gf and told her to never give to me until i went out and got a tune......a bigger shot is definatly comin up
Who knows what the GST had. Coulda been a crappy driver, coulda have broken rings on all 4 cylinders etc. Like was said previously, many of the Eclipses aren't properly modded maintained, but WHATEVER the reason, the Mustang was faster than the GST that day. I mean c'mon guys, many of you just seem to jump on what you think is an impossible win. I could racea Ferrari Enzo with my 5.0 powered 67 and if the retard driving it messes up bad, or something in the engine ain't right(not uncommon with Ferraris)I maytake him, but it doesn't mean I'm "faster" only faster that time. Engines will falter, drivers will falter, it's not always the "fastest car" that wins a race. Why are there 400hp cars that run 14's and 300hp cars that run 12's? Because there's more to racing than just number crunching, that's called bench racing and it's lame
