Tonight a guy in a firehwak came up beside me and the first run we went from about a 50mph roll he went first and pulled on me a little hit 3rd and he pulled more. He got me bad from the 2nd to 3rd shift b/c my rev limiter is supposed to be set at 6400rpms but it blocks me at about 6200rpms so i bounced off the limiter beforei shifted. The next run was from a 30mph roll and i stuck beside him through 1st and most of second. After we hit 3rd he pulled about a car on me. During the second run I kept thinking if only i had a bottle. Im about to buy a TB from someone, charge motion plates, and a shifter + im gonna put those pulleys on so hopefully next time ill be able to get the damn f-body. Also i tried to ask the guy what he had but all i could hear was long tubes but im sure he had full exhaust and probably a lid but who knows.

i dont know which one you raced but i think its hard to race those cars. i was going to buy an 01 ss but went for a new car. i raced 2 ss camaros and they both sucked at driving so they lost and i beat them in a 300c witch is much slower than my gt and a verrrryyy easy kill for an ls1. they sucked that much at driving. an okay driver would havekilled me but they couldnt. i raced a ws6 with my gt we went even from second he flooredit b4 me too but when he shifted to third he went half a car ahead and in 4th another car and then stopped pulling at about 100+mph.if i had 4:10's i could have kept up or lost by half a car. 4:10s and tune i would have won no problem. you need to be a really good driver to drive those. auto's i think suck. i have a friend with a 02 ss auto we were gonna race and we might sometime but he test drove a gt and saidyou willwin no problem. i think it sucks to get a ls1 auto. it sucks to get a mustang auto too i migt switch my trans later but hay i heard the auto's on s197 are good. (still rather have stick)
