He ran a 12.90 in a Mach with full exhaust and bald street tires.....I doubt even a professional drivercould duplicate that feat....

 

I actually wouldnt doubt it, I saw a stock mach 1 run a 13.4, completely stock to the bone, burned the **** out of his clutch though.

 

The 03 Mach runs the 1/4 in 13.2 stock. 13.88 with auto.

 

Machsare great cars (especially in the low end) but with bald tires good luck with a great launch which is something you MUST have to get anything close to a 12.9 in a Mach with just exhaust...Sorry I don't buy it..

 

Wasn't picking a side, just giving unbiased info. Didn't have anything on an 04', but think the 03' is similar.

With the exception that it's a Mach......everything else is hearsay. It's been done quite often in vids that ppl fudge the truth. If you did'nt see the run personally, some of the varibles might not be entirely accurate....A vid involving a strait up race to see who wins or lose is different ,its clear cut who the winner is,but in this case , nah. Do you have a link to this vid?

We used to have a 99 SHO. It was a fun car for a 4-door. My wife loved it until I put straight pipes on it, but I think it sounded great.
I beat a fox body Mustang with it once, but not by much.
