I know the car quite well. I saw it the night before he ran it. Here is the link. You may talk to him if you would like to verify the tires. http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...40535385b7.htm
The 12.9 runs are toward the end.
Well Atco explains it all........That is the best prepped, best DA track on the planet...

thats impressive, I was going to buy a 96 SHO instead of my GTP.....it didn't feel nearly as fast as my GTP does though, I was actually kind of dissapointed with its performance but otherwise it was a very nice car

I like the SHO because it has the V-8 rumble. Mine has flowmaster mufflers on it.There are so many import drivers that dont suspect a thinguntil i leave them in the dust.

Nice kills! There's a guy in our car club with an SHO (that he no longer drives because it keeps busting) and I was very impressed with it. We'd do club-wide mountain runs sometimes and his car handled very very well in the twisties and had enough power to lead the pack when we'd switch off leaders.

The v8 SHO's are ok, but I'd rather have an 89 or 90 SHO with the v6 and manual tranny. The v6's with a manual tranny from these years can run mid 14's stock, they're pretty impressive.

Atco is where dreams come true. It is the reason why I refer to stock foxes as fourteen second cars and sn95 5.0s as high 14 cars when everyone else says 15s. I know of 3 auto foxes with gears, shift kit, exhaust, pulleys, and bumped timing in the 13s.

The quickest time for a stock C6 (12.2@115) was ran at Atco.....So when I hear a Mach with exhaust run a 12.9 it would'nt surprise me...

I loved our old 94SHO, the torque on launch with the 5spd was nasty though. Published times were 6.6 0-60 and a top speed of 155. It ran well for a big car......made it from OKC to Tulsa (108 miles) in just under 50 minutes the morning my daughter was born
