Default kills so far

A few months ago i bought a 98 Taurus SHO with the 3.4 liter V-8. Overall i am very happy with the car. I have had 3 kills in it so far. First was a n/a 3000GT, i put bus lengths on him. 2nd was my buddy in his stock 89 5.0, put about 2-3 cars on him. 3rd was just yesterday. It was a n/a 300ZX, this race was pretty close but i got him by about 1/2 a car. Just thought i would share my kills with my daily driver.

Are you sure it's a V8....? 3.4L is puny displacement for an 8cyl.....I know the n/a 3000GT's are not lightning fast, but they are quick enough not to have bus lengths put on them by a TaurusSHO.....exaggerating a little...?

Nice Kill!!!!

I used to be able to out run my brother with my 93 SHO (a few mods)vs his 95 GT automatic. He would jump me from a dig then I would slowly take him. We used to race on the the long lonely roads of Iowa. I was able to get about 135 mph out of the SHO.

O.K., my mistake. I guess in 1998 it came with a four cam aluminum block V8...

89-95 was the 24 valve V-6. 96-99 was the 32 valve V-8.

Your friend must not know how to drive. a Stock 5.0 is about a full 0.5 quicker in the 1/4 than the show because of the huge weight difference. Nice kills though.

Just because he can drive one car doesn't mean he knows how to drive another. The 04 is not the 89 5.0 he raced you in. Totally different drive trains = totalymodifieddriving skill needed.
