All I know is that I've ridden in my brother's 07 C6 a few times now.....and have even raced him a couple times.

That said, I say it would take a special kind of retarded monkey to lose to a stock or near stock S197 GT in a C6.

Perhaps a one armed monkey suffering an epileptic sezuire driving an auto....lol

You guys are very right...I have done little to no research on the FI for a C6. I found a kit for $6k but the install and all the crap that goes with it will bring it close to $10k. After thinking about it I think I might just go with full bolt ons and save the rest of the cash for a nice vacation or something. (got to keep the wife happy)

C6...what does a full bolt on C6 run on average? Do you know that the dyno number would be? I'm not even really sure what I should do after the full exhaust CAI and tune. Any info is great. Cant let those GTs get me anymore :P

I got a ride in a bone stock C6Z and if I can make my C6 comparable to that I think I would be very happy.

If you want to run with a C6ZO6 you will need a power adder....There is no bolt-on combo on the planet thats going to net you 100 and some change horsepower........that you will need to run with a late model Z.
I would think with full bolt-ons,gears,tires,tune amid 11at best....Yes that ET is close for an average driver in a Z,but in no way will you match a Z's trap speed....I guess I'm not the only C6 owner in this dilemma...lol

Well like I said I dont have to beat a C6Z I just want to be comparable.

When I read the LS3 dyno numbers I was a little upset. Then I sat down, had a beer and thought about it. I drive my dream car. I cant afford the LS3 vette so I'm going to be happy with what I have. I'm going to do a bolt-on here and a bolt-on there and just have fun with my corvette.

3 years for the LS2 was pretty ****ty though. I was expecting to be the top dog for at least 2-3 more.

I would seriously be upset if the camaro and GTO got the LS3. I can honestly say that I would sell my vette if that happened.

Well if the new Camaro came with a solid axle I would be nervous ( less drivetrain loss in a solid axle and it weighs less)...... I don't know what the curb weight would be, but a logical guess is close to 3500-3600lbs.....If that stays true I think were in good shape....We won't put bus lengths on them , but we shouldnt lose either....

I don't think you guys will have alot to worry about with the Camaro. IMO I think it may weigh more like 3600-3800lbs. though I have heard 450 crank hp on those things. I would expect a high 12's car coming from the factory (12.7-12.9 range) I don't think you guys will have to worry as much as the mustang guys! Regardless, I will be in line to purchase one of those. I wonder how high the markup will be if any? Any word on the power out put on those cars?

But then again if there underrated as much as the LS1 were, you may have to worry[&:].
