Simple law of argumentation:
If you prove that the most extreme example does not hold true, then the general case does not hold true by default.
And, if the other person is proved wrong, you are proved right regardless of whether you even had a valid argument.

my brother has an evo ix.....with ur mods and him stock...u got'em from a roll...that is if he is gettin a 9 not a 10! i dont know much about the 10's but i do hear their goin to be sick!

 

10's have the same HP rating (300) and weight MORE. so dont count on it being better than the 9

Hey, I am not particularly a big fan of EVOs...I am just saying my friend's went 12.4 @ 112 mph at 3000 feet above sea-level (DA was about 5000, i really can't remember exactly). My point was just that at a lower elevation, he could probably run mid to high 11s. Even NHRA adjustments for elevation would put himthere.

 

I think the current evos look the best albeit turds for the most part, they do look good now the new ones are down right ugly, looks like an suv that got squished into a car and then a spoiler and new hood was added

 

the evo IX has less hp and torque. The X is supposedly going to make 300/300 while the IX makes 286/289. The X is also going to have dsg(6-speed, MUCH quicker shifting) instead of the regular ol' manual tranny they have now (5-speed unless you ge the MR). I absolutely garuntee you it will be quite a bit quicker.
