so i was hanging out with my friend who has a 99 mustang gt at the local spot. we decide to leave because it was getting late. when we got on the highway together were both gettin on it hard and decide to line them up. my mods are in my sig. he has bbk longtubes, bbk catted x, borla stinger catback, bbk/mac cai and a diablo. hes also lowered with light suspension and wide meat saleens out back, i dont know if that means anything. we line up at about 60ish(wasnt really looking at the spedo) in 3rd. on the third honk we floor it at the same time and i jump about a half car and hold it till we shut down at most the way through 4th. for some reason i thought he would pull me with his longtubes and tuner. so this means i am 1-2(lost to a 00 z28 with light mods and 02 gt with full bolt ons, both my good friends).

Nice kill man. And if he has a manual tranny, then he needs the driver mod. The LT's and tuner should have really helped him out.

 

yes he is a 5spd car. im not sure if the t45 ratios are different than the tr3650, but we both have stock rear end gears. i guess my intake mods were the difference, or he needs a custom tune badly.

 

It was his driving. The only thing you have that he dont is the plenum, but he over takes you badly with the LT's, and the Diablosport tuner helps him some too.
