I like the IX's a lot better. Hopefully I can have a go at my friend's EVO IX MR soon. Yeah I'll probably lose but it would still be fun!

 

I would say be sure you go from a roll, but I hate roll racing, so I cant say that. Although you will have a better chance from a roll. I'd say he will edge you out if he is stock and you with your mods. But some 4.10 gears and UDP's will probably give you the win, or make it really really close.

 

My plan is to invite him to the track and make sure I race him on his 1st ever run at the track! [8D]

i just raced my friends evo 9 from several rolls starting around 30mph in my 03 gt....lost evertime[:@], except when i raced him once from a dig-cuz he misshifted 2nd....

 

A whole world difference in an 03 GT and 06 GT man (unless you have some major mods). I ran an EVO (not sure what model) about a year ago in my auto 01 GT from a dig, needless to say by 70mph or so he had about 2 cars on me. I've been wanting to find him in my 05 GT, because I dont think he was the best driver.
