I ran a 300GT VR4 once with my old bolt on LT1... the guy confused the hell out of me though.

Tried twice to get him to run from a dig and he wouldn't but he was up forroll ons....

perhaps he didnt know how to properly launch his car? there was a nicely put together VR4 at nopi norwalk last year, and although he was trapping something like 110, he couldnt get off the line, and was in the 14s...[:'(]
everyone seems to think that launching an AWD car is as easy as holding it at the limiter and letting it rip, but thats not the case... plus going from a roll would give him a chance to do away with the lag.

Unfortunately for the VR4 in this case I was a bolt on LT1(2200 stall, shift kit, 3.42s, full exhaust minus headers, etcand ported heads.)

He stood a much better chance from a dig than a roll. LOL
