ill make it short for you guys- on my way to drop a buddy off last night, a stang comes flyin past me id say the year was around 97-98 (different tailights)so he decides to fly past me- i give chase and finally catch him at a light. im in the left lane and hes in the right- my buddy asks if he wants to run and says yea "but its a 6" im like alright lets do it. light turns green and i take off- he just sits there. i get up to 70 or so and start to let off becuase he never ran- all of a sudden he comes flyin past doin 80 + so i put the pedal back down to the floor (i was doin maybe 50-60) and start to reel him in- around 90 i passed him and continued to put some good length in between us. didnt get a chance to talk to him- he turned off before the next light. but i thought there was no way in hell that was a 6- it took me too long to reel him in and i could tell by the exhaust that it was a GT- he was deffinantly modded too. so im pretty sure he was bullsh*tting me at the light when he said it was a 6. o well- just thought id share with you all

 

lol what a jerk. I had an RX8 guy tell me he only had a "cat thingy"[catback exhaust...he knew damn well how it was called]...and nothing more. He raced my friend first and he kept up pretty good, which was a heads up to me...when he downshifter, 5 second flames came out of his exhaust...yes, 5 second flames...like a dragon. He had a Stg.2 supercharger, Short ram intake, catless race pipe, catback exhaust, rear diffuser,NOS intercooler injection, tune & upgraded radiator. Funny thing is, we were dead even till 5th gear, when apparently his mods came to full potential and he started to walk away, till he had 2 cars at the end of 6th gear. I walked him pretty good from a dig. AWD FTW lol.

 

Are you talking about your car having AWD, because I'm pretty sure RX8s are RWD.
