I'm really excited about the aftermarket for the Z06..it's finnaly coming along..RPM motors has a C6 Z06 pushin 509rwhp with just Ported TB, Intake, K&N filter and tune.
As far as those supercars go...I don't know who will win..but if would be a great race.

aa modded z06 or even a stock one is deadly for sure, but you are kidding yourself if you think a stock z06 is gonna walk a 599...that thing is a ****ing monster...they trap in the 130's 100% stock. It would have been a better race for you mr rogers if you were stock. z06 vs 65 amg stock is a good *** race especially from a dig.

Accully Car & driver just tested the new 599 GTB a few months ago and they got this:
611 BHP @ 7600
448 ft-lb @ 5600
0-60: 3.3
0-100: 6.8
1/4 mile: 11.2 @131
top speed: 206 (mfr claim)

They also had a Z06 earlier this year:

1/4 mile: 11.8 sec @ 122mph (the hit 11.7 in a test last year)

0-100: 8.3s
top speed: 198 (mfr claim)

And the specs on the new Mercedes SLR McLaren:

1/4 mile: 11.5
0-60: 3.5
0-100: 7.8

I dont know how much mr rogors mods have improved his time, but the new 599 looks like perfact competition. However on a track with turns & such, I would think the ferrari would win. They both handle very well, but the ferrari brakes from 70-0 faster & accelarates faster.
Top gear put both the SLR & the Z06 around their track & the SLR is over 2 seconds quicker.

A buddy of mine just bought a Lingenfelter twin turbo C6 Z06... supposedly has over 760rwhp. He told me he owes me a ride, I'm a little scared to be honest! This is the first high hp car he's ever owned... he called me the other night while driving it drunk. I told him he's going to wrap it around a tree before I get the chance to get a ride in it
