I pulled up to a red light tonight, and this cop looked over at me like he wanted to run, he kinda revved up his squad a little bit too. I thought about it for a second, and he kinda laughed... then I realized... this could be a trap! Maybe he looks for cars to entice into a race and then he shuts them down in the form of a nice fat drag racing ticket!

im sure he wasnt revving. they can track that in his computer, revving is also considered unneccesary acceleration and so on. [sm=bs.gif]

...They can track Engine RPMs now?[&:] If your talking about the Radar or Laser, they show a digital readout of Speed, and thats it.
And it's called Unneccesary Display of Horsepower, Revving, peeling out, and deep acceleration all fall under that category.

 

I don't see any reason to throw the BS flag, the cop was probably just messing with the OP because he can. Or maybe he was a Mustang guy, who knows!

 

I've revved at a few cops before at a light. Then I'd laugh, and say "Just joking". 9 times out of 10 they have a good sense of humor then they floor it when the light goes green. Meanwhile I take off like a grandma just to be safe that I don't get a ticket.

Alot of the cops out there are real cool. You just need to use common sense, and usually they'll leave you alone.

 

i believe him in philly where i live there like races every weekend (all ricers though) but anyway they got a cop racing in his squad car on tape and he got in all kinds of s**t so dont say it dont happen go to u-tube and look up philly cop car racing if u dont believe me
