I'm just curious. Where are you some of you getting your weight #'s on the Evo? The lightest one is the RS and the curb weight is 3219. The 9 & MR weight about 3276. This is a big difference between what I'm seeing up above (2850 up to 3086)

yea so i did a few pulls with an evo last night all from 45 i would jump about a nose ahead of him at first then we would hit top 3rth into 4th and we he was just gone i sprayed 100 he wouldnt tell us what all he had done but he did say turbo upgrade and he said he was putting down well over 400hp one thing i did see for the first time in real life atleast that i thought was cool he bounced off the rev limeter and shot flames and crap a few times just like you see from those supras on vids online from 45 to about 120 he put about 3 cars on me they said they race from 45 to 140 i told them i couldnt pull that so to them i lost by way more i guess the only other thing i got from the evo guys was that, that particular evo had pulled a 600hp supra
Meh. Evos are heavy as ****..they need that horse power to get out of the driveway. None the less, with tunning and mods they can become very fast indeed
Evos are heavy?? 32xxlbs?? Your Stang is a TANK then!!

Actually that sounds kind of backwards... normaly an AWD car will get you off the line and you catch up closer to the end.. they are at such a disadvantage from a roll with the drivetrain loss.. but damn do they take off like rockets from a dig. My friends WRX, before the rebuild, was a 14 second car.. and it would get me off the line HARD every time we went.. by the 1/8th I was past him again.. but damn.. and I was pulling 1.8 6' times pretty regularly. I need another play toy.

You are right. For the brand new EvoIX, the weight range is from 3219-3338lbs according to Mitsubishi Motors. Apologies.
