It should be a mid 12 second car with a trap around 110-112
Your wrong on this one man,The LS3 should have an average trap of 116mph whenthey get more broken in and track tested....Yes I know there are alot of sub-par drivers out there and I'm sure you have witnessed quite a few yourself first hand, but most LS2 C6's (A6 or M6) are trapping 112-114 with a average driver.......12.21@115.8mph so far for a bonestock 2.56 geared non-z51A6 C6..Which just happens to be the quickest run that I'm aware of in a base LS2 Vette..

The two C6 vettes that I've raced this year were in the 12.6 to 12.8 range. and trapped 111 & 113

Different strokes for different folkes. I can't stand the look of the C5.
I cant stand the C5 either. I didnt know they were ugly until the C6 came out tho I owned a 1997, 1999, 2001, 2004 tho.lol even tho the C6 is a little slower than my '04 Z06 its 10X more car IMO. After bolt ons all I remember the Z as is a toy.

I'm going to have to agree with bickety and lovemygt I like the styling of the c6 much more than that of the c5, I love the sharp lines and the overall "edge" look the c6 has.

And I'm gonna have to agree with you and those 2 aswell. I really never cared about Vettes, but when the new ones came out and the lights werent the flipout ones, I actually started really liking them, and if I could find one in the upper 20k range I would get one.

LOL, I think your right. I found a few early 2000 model Z06's in the mid 20k range. But the cheapest 05+ Vette I found was like 31k.

I know where an FRC is sitting that ran 12.9 @ 107mph with only a short throw as a mod for 16.5K... I wish I had the money....

C5 fan here as well. I don't like the exposed headlights either on the c6.

I saw an older lady mid 50's, maybe 60 getting into a black c5 at the grocery store last week. I said to her "Nice grocery getter!"She just smiled and said have a nice day. I don't think she understood what I was talking about.
She probably thought you were trying to get alittle.[8D]
ROFL!!

I'm gonna say it will be good for low 12's with a good driver.... but I heard one guy got mid 8's out of one with a set of slicks
