i'm not sure what a 98 gt weighs, but an awd 1g dsm weighed in around 3200lbs
2800 for the first flight 91's.

i own a 92 awd gsx eclipse...its auto tho which sucks....i read about the free mods farther up in forum.....how do i open up air tract to intercooler??? and where is and how do i remove boost restrictor???

and by the way ....stock to stock....the awd turbo gsx 1st gen will eat a 98 gt...even tho mustang is my favorite car......there still is reality kicking in the nuts....i do like the gsx though.

That's true if the car is actually running right. The first gens are pretty old, and it's hard to find a decent running one. I've have seen stock 1g's at the track do 15's with the awd, just because most of those cars don't run the best that they can.

My friend has an auto 93 GSX with a 16g, 3" exhaust, a FMIC, and its runnin 18lbs. It ran a 8.8 at Mooresville the last time I saw it. Thats pretty much the textbook mod route for these cars. A stock 1g GSX will run a 15 flat in good shape. But good luck finding one in good shape these days.

1st Gens are insanely easy and cheap to make fast. I have yet to find a stock 1st gen.
