stock lt1's make 275 rwhp??? Wow I never realised they were that powerfull

 

Yeah the 275/285hp crank rating a little off (not near as bad as the LS1 but you get the picture).. a few LT1 M6 cars were in the 270+ ball park... Ive seen most in the 265ish area... autos in the 255ish area...

 

LS1 unless the LT1 is got some heavy work. i have seen it in person a few times. two of my boys which happen to be brothers. both have T/A's but one is LT1 and the other is LS1. the LT1 has some serious engine work with a supercharger so he usually wins. but the younger bro with the LS1 is getting ready for a big swap. so the fun will begin in the spring for them.

 

ls1 won from a dig pretty bad. The lt1 had traction prolbelms. And from a roll the ls1 pulld him barely

How close was the roll on race? Less than a car?

 

the ls1 was an auto right? what mph did they start the roll race 40mph?

 

i think it was 30 or 35 from a roll race and i would say the ls1 won by a car lenghtfrom the roll

 

Sounds about right... would love to see a rematch at the track with both cars on some sticky tires.

 

I have a 95 formula m6 with 170miles with the same mods but i have 4.10s(which is wat is gonna make the difference in this race trust me) and i yanked a 2000 A4 Ws6 with just a catback, by like1.5 cars from 35ish to 85 ish, but the lower u start from the better chance for the lt1, btw oth should be right around 300whp give or take
