All my times slips shows that the 60' is .1=.2 in the quarter mile and i think most guys will agree with me on this one.Maybe not all the time but most of the time though.

What is the best way to improve my 60ft times? I ran 110 in the 1/4 mile this weekend and only ran a 13.3. My buddies told me at 110 i should be in the 12's. Is that true?
What are your 60 ft times. I would expect with a even a measly 1.9 60ft you would easily run 12.5 or lower with that trap speed.

Most of the time, it's in that 'area'.

But, other times, it's more. Other times it's less.

I have examples of both.

14.545@99.37 with a 2.226 60' to a
13.983@100.84 with 2.149 60'

.562 et improvement on a .077 60' improvement

*though i will admit shifting had alot to do with that*

And then not even .1=.1

13.983@100.84 with a 2.149 60' to a
13.879@100.86 with a 2.028 60'

a .104 et improvment with a .121 60' improvement..[][][][][]

WILD! though I do feel violated my 60' improved more than my ET[X(]

What times you guys think i should be running when i get drag radials, control arms and subframe connectors. I have a 04 with a Novi2000
Mid 1.60's. I had no suspension work and would cut 1.68 to 1.65 on almost ever pass. On a good pass 1.63. Track prep is the key. You also need to look at your 330'. That is more important than the 60's.

Of the 5 runs i made yesturday my best 60ft time was 2.244 and that run was a 13.34@110.4. Im pretty sure i have 3:73 gears but idk 4 sure i bought the car all done and the guy i bought it from didnt tell me much
Just say u cut .3 off of your 60'.Thats mean u would run .6-.7 faster in the 1/4 mile.If u run just a 1.944 60'(.3 faster)U would be running about 12.7 or maybe even a 12.6.Every .1off of your 60' is .2 off of your 1/4 mile time.Thats the rule of thumb any ways.
Thats a drag racing urban legend.

Agreed, Theres alot more that goes into the E/T than .1on the small end =.2 on the big end! Track condition, weather, At what RMP shifts are made, ETC. All effect the final E/T. To many variables to simply say .1=.2!

Took me a fewminutes to look at my tickets. I got ticket from 9differentcar/bikes in 4 years, and thats just my car and motorcycleMost of the stock tires tickets have 5.50' 330's some in the 5.60's. I couldn't find all of them, I will look through all of them another day. I thing I had a few 5.40 with the stock tires. I went faster with the stock tires then I did with dr's. 60's got better but mph slowed down. Dr's did it for me with the spray.

Maximum Motorsport, UPR, Steeda all make some nice contol arms. 2.2 isnt horrible, but I ran a 12.9 at 109 with a 2.0 60 ft on street tires. Some Mickeys, control arms, and subframes and you'll be where you should be.
WOW

If 2.2 isn't horrible I'd hate to see something that is!

For a street car, on non DR tires you should be shooting to go in the 1.9's with that much power, if not better. My dead stock 95GT went 2.0's!

ya but look at it this way on street tire with more power your looking at the chance of even more wheel spin so it kind equals out
