Or, you could look at it like with more power you have the chance of getting more power to the ground and therefore going faster. Any claim that more power = less traction is simply wrong. Yes, there is a limit to how much power you can put down on a street tire but mid 2.2's certainly isn't the limit.

 

i have 255 mt et streets and im only cutting a 1.8 60' and thats mostly because they hook too damn good because im revving to like 4-4500 on launch...... but I would say some gearing would help me out considerably (which is going to be done very soon). other than that i just have lower control arms for suspension mods.
