Killed a GTO tonight He was moded including LT headers. I bet him in the 1/4 by half a length and that was with the tires spinning in second. I had to get off of it a little to get traction. I still have a smile on my face.

Since nobody else asked, was it a 5.7 or 6.0? Was it an automatic or standard?

If it was a LS2 GTO with bolt-ons that car should be running mid 12's with a good launch.....The OP's GT should be amid/high 12 tops!!!! Now I can see the OP winning provided there is no spinning, but saying that he spun through second and still managed to win tells me either the GTO is in need of a tune up, or the Goat driver needs lessons..

 

Or maybe it was an LS1, not too speedy compared to an LS2 GTO or LS1 F-body..
