GTO kill
What were the times? Nice kill either way, but a LS2 with those mods should be mid 12s or better with DRs. I wonder if he was tuned or not?GTOs have a lot of torque management on the Autos.

If it was a LS2 GTO with bolt-ons that car should be running mid 12's with a good launch.....The OP's GT should be amid/high 12 tops!!!! Now I can see the OP winning provided there is no spinning, but saying that he spun through second and still managed to win tells me either the GTO is in need of a tune up, or the Goat driver needs lessons..

Since nobody else asked, was it a 5.7 or 6.0? Was it an automatic or standard?

They are difficult to launch but what do I know I just have a auto with a 3400 stall and I either flash the thing or foot brake it. A kill is a kill hell i got beat by an LT1 vette ( and he was stock) however I had excessive tire spin on the track and got out of it by the first 80feet.... I ran like 21.2 @50mph..... hahahaha

I think 90% of the goat drivers out ther need lessons. The Gto owners that I talk to say there as hard as a front driver to launch![8D]

Fastest GTO I've seen this year was a Heads/cam/intake car with a healthy list of suspension mods. (Aftermarket axles, Drag Bags, Wider wheels with drag radials. Rolled fenders, etc.) It ran a 12.2 @ 115. with a 1.8 60ft. It was at a GTO meet at ATCO and he was the only car in the 12's that night. The majority of the GTO's were high 13 or low 14's. You could tell there was alot of first timers there with the 2.3 to 2.5 sixty ft. times[8D]

Well, I'm going to see if my KC Chiefs can keep the winning streak against Brett Favre going. (It's the only team in his career he has yet to beat)......and I want it to stay that way...
