Ya the track was messed up, you would have had to lock your brakes up to trap those speeds, haha

 

yeah, the cobalts trap was tomuch for it to compute so it just blew up lol... i wish

 

Wow IWHINE, don't take this the wrong way but your car and how it performs from adig is the reason I'll never own a FWD car again. I owneda 97 GST Eclipse Spyder for a couple of yearsand it drove me nuts. Stock traction in that thing was horrible, and your car is muchmore powerful. I just couldn't get over the fact that I had all this power but couldn't get any of to the ground.

With the kind of traps your getting, you should be in the 12's! My suggestion would be to sell the car and get you a RWD or AWD car that way you can use all the power! Unless, you just want a roll monster! And with a 107 trap speed, you definatly have one!

People are saying it's the car or the track prep. But a car is only as good as it's driver. I'm sure IWHINE is a great guy, just not a great driver![:@]

If I were a betting man, I'd have to say it's 50% car, 25% driver & 25% track. Having all that power at the front wheels (street tires) is just too difficult to get moving even if your a decent driver and the track prep is good (IMO).

 

Well i ran on bald street tires which did not help and my poly control arm bushings are not re installed yet so that did not help me either. The car is wheel hopping now were as it used to spin with the bushings in. The track is not meant for street tires i honestly believe that, the drag radial guys were pulling good shgort times but they were rwd to so can't say much. The car will hook better next year on the drag radial but soon it will be put away for the winter well i stew about what to do next.
