Maybe he sprayed. All of the modded scions I've seen around here have some sort of nitrous setup. This douchebag looking guy even purged on me one time at a stoplight, even though he was in a turning lane and I wasn't. Good thing though, I would've lost lol.
He could have sprayed... I didn't hear a supercharger at all. But then again, the TRD supercharger is really quiet... And who would be stupid enough to spray in a corner? I seriously think he had the TRD supercharger option. And no matter what people say about them cars, if it indeed was the supercharged one, I am actually considering getting one in the future to keep the miles down on the Mustang.

But I would get a licenceplate saying "POS TC" on the TC... and a bumper sticker... "My real car is a Mustang"

Nice job holding him off. The are ok stock, and actually have a huge aftermarket available, turbos, s/c, exhaust and much more. The Wife wanted one awhile back, but we decided to hold off, and thank god because she rather have the new turbo Cobalt next year.

Thanks... I hope I'll run into the guy sometime in the future. I'll have to talk to him then, it's always nice to know what people have under the hood of their cars. Even though I am a V8 guy, you can't deny the imports that know what it is all about. Most just put a HKS style big bore exhaust on their cars and be done with it. Think they are the next big street racer. It's the ones that put one of those on there after bolting a turbo / supercharger on their cars that get my respect.

But when they start putting weird bumpers and spoilers on their cars... yes... they loose it again...

I read the titleand thought you were talking Thunderbird......
They are nice looking cars, and boosted would be a hell of a lot of fun.
Seeing as how 1st gear redlines at like 2 mph.

I raced one tonight at the track, there were two guys in the car and i'm guessing this time isn't what they are capable of. I spun bad in first and short shifted to gain traction, but that TC was so far behind by the time I crossed the line I couldn't see him in my rear view. I ran a 12.52 at the same trap speed by just leaving the line at idle.

That 0-62 time is the same / a tad slower as my old Peugeot 405 1.8 litre I had in the Netherlands. The TC might be a tad heavier, but has a good 57 horse on my old 405... That guy must have been sleeping, and shifting for crap... 17 second quarter, I think they should be capable of at least 15's. I could have beat that guy in my old Peugeot 405...

Nice run on your part though! 12's are awesome in my book! I think a taller gear would help you with traction though... 4.10's + supercharger = really problematic launch...

I know a guy that ran a 15.1 in one with nothing but a borla exhaust I believe, they aren't bad at all for N/A 4 cylinders and the engines love it when they get a good dose of F/I.
