I saw an intersting 240SX engine swap today! Ive seen the ever pesent SR20DET +5.0L Ford,LT1 Chevy, LS1 Chevy and evena VQ35.

So what was so intesting? A 240SX with a 290 bhp 4.0L V8 from a Lexus.
He was running high 13's but the car still had a lot in it.He was still tuning thestand alone engine management.
It was running a custom adaptor to mate the engine to the stock Nissan5-Speed.
Once they get the car sorted a custom turbo system is next.

I guess some of the import guys are jumpimg on the V-8 Bandwagon.

I don't really consider anything weird in a 240sx anymore. People swap every type of motor that makes a reasonable amount of power into them. When they first started to get big it was cool to stick a different motor other than the SR20 or the RB's in there but now people just stick in any kind of engine so that they can say they have something unique.240's are kind of getting old now.
