so what would it take to be able to run with a vette, can you add H/C/I would that be enough or do you have beef up the lower end of the engine. i got destroyed today and i knew he would get me but i had no clue it would be that bad

 

probably... i couldnt tell ya...what kind of vette are we talkin here? ur run of the mill c5 or c6..liek 350 hp to 425 hp? if it were those and u wanted to get it done on all motor..id seggest h/c/i and full bottom build..and just get everythign flkowing to the max..mayeb stroke/bore the engine out...other wise a vortech or kennebell at 8+psi should do the job

 

I'll put this where you'll be sure to get some feedback. The street/strip section is full of GM guys that I'm sure will be more than happy to fill you in on what's needed.

What year/kind of Corvette? There is a huge difference in power between the years/engines. Huge.

 

if i go with a 347 then i will have to change from auto to a 5-speed or even 6-speed

 

what year vette? an 83? youre faster now...a new z06? its not going to happen...unless youre going to spend serious money..serious, serious money.

 

it was at the oldest maybe 3 yrs old and a tight *** Blue color, i know that doesnt help much but after that i really didnt want to talk, like i said i knew he would get me, but not by that much
