500hp 500tq vs 365hp and 390tq?I know im not exact on the power but its around there. Ive seen alightning race its pretty fast but ive also seen the srt10 race and i was racin against it in a new edge gtonce they floor it they seem slow then it just PULLLLSS like a motha F***a.

The SRT10 will destroy the Lightning once they get moving. Over 100hp more, better tires, and much better gearing just can't be overcome without a slip-up.
...and I'd rather have a Grand National with a big hairdryer and 23inches of rubber in back

2 friends of mine are in a major heated debate over who has the faster truck... there both stock and both guys are pretty good drivers. its an 04 lightning and im not to sure on the year of the viper truck. anyways i gave them these stats on both of the trucks. from the information on the two trucks that i have searchedits seems the 0-60 and1/4 mile times are more consistantwith the lightning thanthe srt10.therefore i said its gonna be a driversrace and IMO favoring the lightning because of being a automatic and lighter and would seem alot easier to launch... whatdo yall think??

On the L it really depends on the year...pre 01 (If memory serves) were no where as quick due to traction issues with the suspension and some other minor tweaks...
I remembe getting beat by a bone stock L with my LT1 Auto stock... Every race My nose would be dead even with his drivers door. (14.1 @ 97mph stock)... after the 01models rolled out I started seeing mid 13s out of those things stock.
I think SRT10 has the advantage as single cab (driver can obviously loose it) but its a fairly close race with good drivers in each truck.

I've unfortunately got my money on the srt10 but not by much, although my fathers friend does own 2completely bone stock srt10's and said one is noticeably faster than the other, seems it really depends on what day those things were built..lol... could be why your not seeing consistent numbers for the srt10
