I've never had it on the 1/4 mile. The closest 1/4 mile track to me is Bristol which is still like 3 hours away. Would love to get it out there tho. I think i can hit 8's in the 8th i f get my 60 ft down. But that was my first time on the track with this car. I could usually hit a 2.0x 60 ft in my 95 gt.

don't be mad, it's your fault you can't drive. also don't be mad that you can't get traction, that's also your fault for bad launches and/or bad tires.

So these 6'ers are capable of low nines if driven "correctly"?? Ive yet to line up to one, but Ive been wondering what they can do. I didnt realize I had quite that big of a chance of losing. My personal best is a 9.71 @ 2.35 60'. My cars best is 9.58 @ 2.24 60' (little brother), with a best trap of 77 mph. So thats really putting us neck and neck.

Im not bench racing here, just thinking out loud I guess. Id go find one right now just to see [8D] Buuuuuuuut, the car's down for now (shredded serpintine, expired plates, needs oil changed, saving for new clutch, and my job sucks [:@])

To the op, like bluebeast said, props to you for even going out there and giving it a whirl. It just takes a little time. My first time at the track, best ever of 10.02. 2nd time, best of ^^^^^

I had my 95 GT down to a 9.6 in very hot weather. My friends 95 gt with the same mods as me plus gearswas runnina9.5everytime that same day. He went back in cooler weather and got his down to a 9.2. Stock sixers won't run low 9's. My friends 4.0 after tune and cold air stillcouldn'tbeat my 95 GT. Especially from a stop. From higher rolls it was closer.

I have no idea. I thinkif i had went back on the day my friend went with it i woulda have hit 9.3-9.4. I'm always like a tenth behind him. But by the time it cooled off i had already traded the 95.
