so i saw a camaro fly by where i was sitting and decided to run it down because i thought it was a z28... it was dark and i pulled up beside him in 3rd and we raced from a 60mph roll. I slowly walked on him up to 100... thinking that i just walked a Z in my new 94Cobra, i was proud of my car... but when we stopped, i saw that he was just a v6... he had 3800 written on the side... so i conviced him to go run again. we went from a stop 2 times, the first time i just spun all the way though second and it took me all the way to 120 to catch him. the second time i had a semi decent launch but still was behind up to 100. we went from a 25mph roll and i pulled on him but by 100 he was only at my rear bumper. we stopped and i asked if he was spraying so he popped his hood and i didnt see any nitous lines. he said he had an intake, headers, enhaust, underdrive pully, and a throttle body... should this race have been this embarrassing for me? is he maybe hiding something or does this sound right?

But you have a completely stock 94 cobra w/ 160,000 miles on it...
First off, who knows if you're car is operating at 100%.
Secondly, he had quite a few mods and it sounds like your launches weren't good. Now, was he hiding something else? Who knows...

You should've pulled on him harder than that. Spinning thru 2nd on that one race explains that race, but where you guys went from a roll, who knows. You have a lot of miles on your car like said above, so maybe something is a little off.

i dont know. im hoping that he was hiding something. for someone to advertise "3800" on the side of their car is almost like they are rubbing it in... i will just have to find someone else to run, plus im going to try to get to the track tomarrow night.

He has to be spraying it; he popped his hood so obviously he isn't just pretending to have a V6. Your car would maul a V6 Camaro to death unless that V6had something major done to it.
