God I love these threads. I accully plan on racing a 5.0 somtime in febuary at the track, ill get a video for referance.
To OP: with the bolt ons you listed the car should run a low 15 and trap about 90 give or take. If he had the Y87 package, he should be able to run about a 14.7 becuase of the gears. If he was spraying with the mods he listed he would have walked away from you. Even if he had an 80 shot, with the mods he listed he could be in the 13s.
I have a freind with a firebird, and with bolt ons & a 100 shot he ran a 13.5.

Sounds about right. The 3.8 v6 they put in the maro's was a lot better than the stang v6's. With the mods he had he was probly puttin down ~190 to the wheels, compared to your ~215. In a newer, lighter car...no surprises. Get gears. Not too pricey but you'll feel a huge difference
