Default GT vs WS6?

My friend has a trans am ws6 and wants to race. I have a 08 mustang gt (manual). Who has the advantage? Would this be a drivers race?

His mods: off road xpipe, shifter, MAF, K&N filter, SLP air lid, TB.

My mods: C&L intake w/tune, off road xpipe, 3.73, spydershaft.

That MAF isn't going to do much for him.

Who drives better? Should be a good race if you don't go to far, anything past 100mph, he's gonna get ya good.

05+ gts struggle to get into the low 13's in stock form, whereas LS1's run it with relative ease. With the mods listed, Id say the gt could run a best 12.8 and the ls1 a 12.5 give or take a tenth. Im saying that the CARS can run these times, but the drvrs are needed to get them there.

+1 Make it a race from a dig...Don't get talked into a roll race up into the triple digits...you'll get walked....I like your chances up to the 1/8 because of your 3.73's...He should start making up ground just about the 1/4 mark......Get a killer launch and hope that initial lead can hold him off before the point of the agreeable finish point.......Good Luck!!
